To mark the opening of The Model Drawing / Unforgettable Neighbourhoods The Model presents an afternoon of talks, film, discussions and an exclusive walking tour through the exhibition.

12.30–13.15: Keynote Speaker—Philippe Van Cauteren, Creative Director S.M.A.K. Museum, Ghent, Belgium

13.15–14.45: Lunch by Sligo Global Kitchen—with artist Anna Spearman and members of Sligo Global Kitchen

14.45–15.15: Talk — Perspectives on Drawing with Marie-Louise Blaney, Education Curator, The Model and artist Kiera O’Toole

15.15–16.00: Walking tour through the exhibition with Philippe Van Cauteren in conversation with Bart Lodewijks and the curators

16.00–16.15: Book presentation Sligo Drawings —artist Bart Lodewijks hands over “first copy” of the publication to the residents

16.15–16.30: Unveiling of Bart Lodewijks’ Permanent Sligo Drawing in The Model Atrium by Chair of The Model Board, Donal Tinney with festive bubbles

The Model Drawing / Unforgettable Neighbourhoods will officially open at 16.30pm.
