CON BRIO presents the celebrated Contempo Quartet from Romania Formed in 1995, the quartet has toured the world extensively and has won a record 14 international prizes.

Since 2003, it has been quartet in residence in Galway.
The programme chosen for this recital includes two of the best loved string quartets in the repertoire and a new piece by Northern Irish composer Deirdre McKay.
