Cairde at The Model: Heaven Lay Close

Tonight’s programme will include the world premieres of two new pieces by Ian Wilson for Mohamed Assani & Callino Quartet, plus quartets by Kevin Volans, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh and Justinian Tamusuza.

Composer Ian Wilson lives in Leitrim and is the Curator of The Sligo New Music Festival. This debut performance of his newest works will reflect Wilson’s strengths as a composer and conductor and will provide an excellent platform for this exciting combination of internationally-praised musicians.
