He is joined by 13 year old child prodigy Andreas Varady. Since moving to Ireland with his family from Slovakia in 2008, there has been quite a buzz building rabout the remarkably talented thirteen year old guitarist. He has just become the youngest person ever to headline a session at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.
Martin Taylor didn’t want to mention Andreas Varady’s age, believing that the 13-year-old is quite simply a great jazz musician. End of story. And Taylor has a point. Listening with eyes closed to the youngster and Taylor trading solos, it would be hard to believe what you see when you open those eyes again.
