€10/€8 / Performance of Piano and Ondes by an exciting new chamber group exploring the repertoire of the electro-acoustic instrument, ondes Martenot Matthew. Formed in 2010 by French ondiste Nathalie Forget and British pianist Matthew Schellhorn, at the core of the group is a duo of ondes Martenot and piano.
Schellhorn and Nathalie Forget’s programme features the work of Olivier Messiaen, Takemitsu, Murail and a world premiere of a new piece by Irish composer Siobhan Cleary based on the W.B. yeats Poem “Cap and Bells”.
