Marketing Assistant (Intern)

The Model is currently seeking applications for a Marketing Assistant Intern to work on a 3 day per week basis for two – three months from the end of July 2010. The Intern will support the work of our Marketing Department over the summer

This is an important role as you will be helping to communicate the brand ideals and the experience of The Model to all visitors and potential visitors through your support of the Marketing Co-ordinator and the Events Manager.

Excellent people skills and an interest in, and a proven ability of working with, the public is critical. A strong interest in the arts and the activities of The Model is an advantage. Good written and verbal communication skills, and computer and digital skills are essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to prioritise within a team environment, has a responsible attitude and values attention to detail.

This role will provide excellent experience for those wishing to work in the arts or tourism sectors.

All placements are unpaid posts, The Model can not offer travel expenses or accommodation, and if you wish to take up an internship offer you will be responsible for these areas yourself.
