We are delighted to be hosting the next Open Coffee Sligo again this Thursday at 11am in the Media Room.
This week Open Coffee will be opening up the discussion around the tangible benefits of Social Media featuring some local case studies.
Open Coffee Sligo is a free, informal networking event for business-minded individuals to get together and chat about new projects and new business ideas, and how to do existing business better.
According to Kevin Peyton, one of the organisers of these monthly meetups – a frequent theme that recurs from meeting to meeting is how attendees are using the Internet and websites like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to build relationships with their customers.
June’s Open Coffee meeting will therefore be exclusively devoted to discussing the benefits of social media. The discussion will be led by Denise Rushe, of The Model and Sligo Events, and Aoife Porter of Bua Marketing. Denise and Aoife, OpenCoffee regulars and keen social media advocates, look forward to showcasing some of the great examples of Sligo businesses who have used social media channels such as Twitter, Foursquare and Facebook and seen tangible results.
The Open Coffee Sligo crew would love to see lots of new faces at the event on June 3rd, so whether you’re a business owner, a social media addict or just somebody who is curious, please pop along to The Model next Thursday.
This discussion will happen in The Model on Thursday, June 3rd from 11-1. No pre-registration is necessary, just show up.
