A project which The Model has been involved with has been short listed for two prestigious national awards. The PACE project (Partnership for the Arts through Creative Engagement) has been shortlisted for a Multimedia Design Award in the Institute of Designer’s in Ireland Annual Awards, and also Best Arts Website in the Realex Web Awards. The awards ceremonies will take place later this week. PACE members and Roomthree Design are eagerly awaiting the results.

PACE is dedicated to promotion and advocacy for visual arts education practice in contemporary galleries and museums and was founded in 2006 by the education curators of the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny, The Model, The Hugh Lane, Dublin City Gallery and the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork.
Designed and developed by Roomthree design, the PACE website showcases innovative projects developed to facilitate interpretation of contemporary art and to enhance appreciation and understanding of visual culture. With news, events,
