Só Sligo Food and Cultural Festival kicks off this week and we’re looking forward to hosting some very delectable events and happenings at The Model.

The Lunchbox Film Screening, Thurs 12 June

Aniar at The Model, Fri 13 June
For one night only, Sligo diners will be able to experience the exceptional cuisine of the award winning Galway based Aniar Restaurant. As part of the SÓ Sligo Food & Cultural Festival, chef and co-founder of Aniar JP McMahon has been invited to The Model to run a pop up restaurant at The Model on Yeat’s Day, Friday June 13th.

Food Talk at The Model Café, Sun 15 June
The Model Café hosts an informal presentation on the influence of food in art, literature and music and popular culture from 1 – 2pm with actor Ciarán McCauley.

Só Sligo Food Trail at The Model Café, Wed – Sun 12 – 5pm, €5
The festival’s food trail winds its way up the Mall to The Model Café where you will find West of Ireland Crab served on flattened cornbread and lemon emulsion on the menu.
