We are very pleased to announce that The Model has been shortlisted for the 22nd RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2011, in the category of ‘Culture’.

The nomination is for the beautiful redevelopment of the building which was designed by architects Sheridan Woods and completed in May 2010. The Model competed against 134 entries to reach the shortlist of 38.

This shortlist will form the basis for a public vote which will be launched on Monday, 13 June on the RIAI website.

The public vote will be run on the RIAI website, announced on RTÉ radio, and the winners will be revealed at the 22nd RIAI Irish Architecture Awards night on Monday 11 July, 2011 at the Woodquay Venue, Dublin City Council.
